Shipping Policy for Coastal Metal Art & Design
At Coastal Metal Art & Design, we understand that your metal design is a valuable addition to your home or business. We take immense pride in crafting and securely delivering each piece to ensure it arrives in perfect condition.
Standard Shipping (Lower 48 US States)
- Free Shipping: All standard shop sizes are shipped FREE of charge via UPS Ground to the contiguous 48 United States.
- Secure Packaging: The shipping process can be unpredictable, and we know our products can be heavy. To prevent damage, we meticulously secure and package each item. This involves robust packing materials and methods designed to withstand the rigors of transit. You may need cutting utensils to open the package and potentially additional assistance, especially if you are elderly or have a disability.
- Reporting Damage or Loss: In the unfortunate event that your package is damaged or lost during transit, please contact us immediately upon receipt or notification of loss. We will work with you to file a claim with UPS and resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Be sure to retain all original packaging and contents for inspection if required by UPS. According to Refund Retriever, UPS has a five-step process before a shipper can get the claim paid. You must provide supporting documentation to UPS claim support to process the claim. This should show the lesser of the actual cost, cost to repair or replace the merchandise.
Large or Oversized Items
- Potential for Increased Shipping Costs: Larger or oversized items may incur higher shipping costs due to their weight and dimensions.
- Freight Shipment: In some cases, particularly for very large quantities or heavy orders, we may contact you to arrange freight shipment instead of standard UPS Ground. This ensures the safest and most efficient delivery of your artwork.
- Prior Notice: We will always communicate any potential changes to shipping costs or methods for oversized or large quantity orders before finalizing your purchase.
Shipping Outside the Lower 48 States
- Hawaii and Alaska: We are unable to offer free shipping to Hawaii and Alaska due to increased shipping costs and logistical considerations. Please contact us at support@coastalmetalart.com or Live Chat for a personalized shipping quote to these locations.
- International Shipping: For all international orders, including Canada, Mexico, and other countries, please contact us for a custom shipping quote. International shipping costs, customs duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Estimated Delivery Times
- Standard Orders: Standard shop sizes typically ship via UPS Ground within 1-3 business days after production is complete.
- Custom Orders: Please allow additional time for production and shipping of custom or larger orders. We will provide an estimated timeframe at the time of order confirmation.
- Tracking Information: Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email, allowing you to monitor your package's progress.
Important Notes
- Delivery Assistance: As our products can be heavy, especially in larger sizes, we recommend having assistance available at the time of delivery to help you safely move and unpack your products. If you are elderly or have a disability, please make arrangements for someone to assist you with package handling, as packages can be difficult to manage.
